Our second little boy was born last Wednesday at 9:47! Mr. Tucker Alan was a little more impatient than his big brother was. We had an induction scheduled for Monday September 19th but he decided to join us on September 14th instead! We got to the hospital at about 7:30 and he was here a little over two hours later without letting his mom get her IV let alone an epidural!!
Weighing in at 5lbs 15.4oz and measuring 18in long, he was a little smaller than Hayden (who was 7lbs 5oz and 20in long) and smaller than I had anticipated but he is perfect in every other way! His fingers and toes are long like Haydens were, but Tucker has soft, dark hair all over his head and even a little bit of a baby mullet!
The first day of Tuckers life was a lot less dramatic than his brothers. Daddy had been up for almost 24 hours so he took a long nap in the afternoon meanwhile Tucker was visited by both sets of grandparents and his big brother. Hayden initially was super shy and completely uninterested in the little guy. Instead, he played with his dinosaurs and with my dad, trying to scare everyone with the plastic dinosaurs he got for his birthday (and which the day before he told us were getting "kicked in the nuts"!)
For being so totally impatient upon coming into the world, Tucker spent the rest of the day pretty relaxed. He slept good and he ate good. It's making me very nervous as to how he's going to be when he turns two!! ;)
